Capital Gains Tax

When selling a property in Spain it is important to take into consideration the capital gains tax.

As legally required, three percent of the sales price are retained from non residents at the moment of the sale. The final capital gains tax declaration is to be presented by law within 4 months from the date of sale. The retained amount will be taken into account and refunded, if applicable.
